Will Anushka promote Nishabdham?

Anushka’s ‘Nishabdham’ is set to premiere 2nd October on Amazon Prime. The film marks Anushka’s digital debut. In her 15 years of career, this is one film that is skipping the theatrical route.

Now comes the question: will she promote this film? There are whispers in the film industry that she’s not willing to promote it much. She has not yet promised the producers anything on that front. If they convince, she may give one or two interviews at the most.

Nani, Sudheer Babu, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Nivetha have promoted their ‘V’, which premiered on Amazon on September 5, aggressively online. Since there are no events during this pandemic, stars have to do online interviews and rely on YouTube and social media promotions. 

But Anushka may not do all this. She will stick to one or two online promotions, insiders say.

‘Nishabdham’ is directed by Hemant Madhukar. The thriller also stars Madhavan, Anjali, Shalini Panday, Michal Madsen, and Subbaraj in pivotal characters. TG Vishwa Prasad has produced the film.
