The team of Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ aggressively has been promoting the film with a whirlwind tour of cities and press meets. The team of ‘Pushpa’ is releasing promotional material every two or three days. The makers of ‘Bheemla Nayak’ have already released four songs and a couple of teasers. The promotions for Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ are on at a good pace. The only biggie that is lagging in promotions is Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’.
Prabhas is a star with Pan-Indian appeal. Hence, the makers are mostly concentrating on the Bollywood market. But they have now realized the importance of holding a massive pre-release event in the Telugu market to bring some josh to the fans and the film. Buzz is that the makers are contemplating holding a massive event in LB Stadium in Hyderabad.
However, it is not so easy to obtain permission to conduct the event in LB Stadium, given the threat of the Omicron variant of Coronavirus. The last big event that was held at LB Stadium was Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’.
The police can only give a nod if the health department officials agree to it. Or the team of ‘Radhe Shyam’ will have to plan a modest event.
‘Radhe Shyam’ is scheduled to hit the screens on Jan 14, 2022. Starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde as the fated lovers, the romantic drama is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
