Mother–son sentiment is one of the most successful box office formulas in the Indian cinema industry. Very recently, we have seen how the “KGF” movies became such a box office phenomenon. In “KGF,” the protagonist Rocky, played by Yash, does all the gangster activities for his mother.
Now, Kalyan Ram’s upcoming film, “”Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi””, relies on this mother–son sentiment, with veteran actress Vijayashanti appearing as Kalyan Ram’s mother.
From the adrenaline-pumping action sequences to the heartwarming mother–son drama, the makers promise that the film has all the ingredients needed for a riveting theatrical experience.
Kalyan Ram’s portrayal of a responsible son and Vijayashanti’s presence as his mother are the main attractions of this story, and the title is also named after their characters. Vijayashanti played Vyjayanthi in her award-winning iconic film “Kartavyam” in 1990. She portrays the same police officer role with the same name in this film, but this time as a mother to a son.

NTR, who watched the film, said that the final twenty minutes of the film will warm the heart and claimed that it will become another different and special film in Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanti’s careers. We have to wait and see whether Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanti deliver another blockbuster in the genre of mother–son sentiment actioners. Pradeep Chilukuri is the director.
