Will Khaki bring luck to Sree Vishnu?

Sree Vishnu is among the talented actors we have in the Telugu film industry. By playing diverse roles and choosing different stories, he has carved out a niche market for himself. 

For the first time in his career, Sree Vishnu has essayed a cop’s role. 

Generally, actors with a mass image do such roles. Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, etc, all have played police roles and gained massive success. In fact, there is a belief that actors who don police uniforms become mass heroes. 

Sree Vishnu has played a cop’s role in ‘Alluri’, his upcoming release. The film hits the theaters this Friday. We have to see whether the film brings him much needed star image.

The makers say the film is a fictional biopic of an honest policeman. Directed by Pradeep Varma and produced by Bekkem Venugopal, the film has newcomer Kayadu Lohar as the female lead opposite Sree Vishnu.
