దాదాపు 22 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత ఒక సినిమా రీమేక్ కానుంది. అజిత్ హీరోగా రూపొందిన ‘వాలి’ చిత్రం తమిళంలో సంచలనం సృష్టించింది. 1999లో విడుదలైన ఆ మూవీ తెలుగులో కూడా డబ్ అయి విజయం సాధించింది. ఇన్నేళ్ల తర్వాత బోని కపూర్ కి దాన్ని హిందీలో రీమేక్ చెయ్యాలనే మనసు పెట్టింది.
ఈ సినిమాకి దర్శకుడు యస్ జె సూర్య. ఆయన ఈ సినిమా రీమేక్ విషయంలో కోర్టులో కేసు వేశారు. దాంతో, రీమేక్ కుదరలేదు. ఇప్పుడు బోనికపూర్ కి అనుకూలంగా తీర్పు వచ్చింది. దాంతో ఈ సినిమా రీమేక్ కి శ్రీకారం చుట్టనున్నారు . కపూర్స్ వెంచర్స్, నరసింహ ఎంటర్ ప్రైజస్ కలిసి నిర్మించనున్నాయి.
తెలుగు, హిందీ భాషల్లో రీమేక్ చేస్తారట. మరి హీరోగా ఎవరు నటిస్తారు అనేది ఇంకా తేలలేదు. బోనీకపూర్ ఇటీవల దిల్ రాజ్ తో కలిసి ‘వకీల్ సాబ్’ చిత్రాన్ని తెలుగులో నిర్మించారు.
