మారుతి తీసిన ‘మంచి రోజులొచ్చాయి’ సినిమా దీపావళి కానుకగా విడుదలైంది. ఈ సినిమాని తక్కువ బడ్జెట్ లో తీశారు మారుతి, ఎస్ కె ఎన్. కేవలం 30 రోజుల్లో పూర్తి అయింది. గోపీచంద్ హీరోగా తాను తీస్తున్న ‘పక్కా కమర్షియల్’ అనే సినిమా షూటింగ్ ఆలస్యం అవుతుండటంతో ఈ చిన్న సినిమా తీశారు మారుతి.
చిన్న చిత్రాలకు అందుబాటులో ఉన్న హీరో సంతోష్ శోభన్, హీరోయిన్ మెహ్రీన్ తో టకాటకా ముగించేశారు. లో బడ్జెట్, గుడ్ ప్రాఫిట్స్ అన్నట్లుగా నిలిచింది ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్.
రిలీజ్ కి ముందే ఓటిటి హక్కులను ఆహా తీసుకొంది. శాటిలైట్ హక్కులు స్టార్ మా కొనుగోలు చేసింది. ఈ రెండింటితో లాభాలు చూశారు నిర్మాతలు. థియేటర్ నుంచి ఎంత వచ్చినా మరింత లాభమే అన్నట్లుగా విడుదల చేశారు. ప్రీమియర్ షోలు వేసి మంచి బజ్ క్రియేట్ చేశారు. ఇప్పుడు థియేటర్ నుంచి వస్తున్న మొత్తం అంతా అదనపు ఆదాయమే.
బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఈ సినిమా పెద్దగా సందడి చేయలేదు కానీ ఈ సినిమా మాత్రం తీసినవారికి వర్కౌట్ అయింది. పైగా, ఈ సినిమాతో విడుదలైన ‘పెద్దన్న’, ‘ఎనిమి’ చిత్రాలతో పోల్చితే ఇది బెటరే అన్న టాక్ కూడా తెచ్చుకొంది.
