టాలీవుడ్ లో అగ్ర నిర్మాణ సంస్థల్లో ఒకటి… మైత్రి మూవీ మేకర్స్. నవీన్, రవి, మోహన్ ఈ ముగ్గురు కలిసి మొదట సినిమాలు తీశారు. తర్వాత మోహన్ దాన్ని నుంచి తప్పుకున్నారు. సొంతంగా ఒక నిర్మాణ సంస్థ పెట్టి పెద్ద నిర్మాతగా ఎదగాలి అని అనుకున్నారు.
ఆ ప్రయత్నంలో భాగంగా మొదట నాని హీరోగా “హాయ్ నాన్న” సినిమా తీశారు. అది నిర్మాణంలో ఉండగానే వరుణ్ తేజ్ హీరోగా “మట్కా” అనే సినిమా ప్రారంభించారు. వైర ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్స్ బ్యానర్ పై మరో నిర్మాత డాక్టర్ విజయేందర్ రెడ్డి తీగలతో కలిసి ఈ రెండు సినిమాలు ప్రకటించారు. అందులో “హాయ్ నాన్న” విడుదలైంది. ఆ సినిమా పూర్తి చేసేసరికి మొత్తం సీన్ మారిపోయింది.
ఇప్పుడు “మట్కా” నుంచి మోహన్ తప్పుకున్నారు. ఒక్క సినిమాకే మమ అనిపించారు. ఆయన స్థానంలో రజిని తాళ్లూరి వచ్చి చేరారు.
“మట్కా”కి ఇప్పుడు డాక్టర్ విజయేందర్ రెడ్డి తీగల, రజినీ నిర్మాతలు. సినిమా నిర్మాణం ఎంత కష్టంగా మారిందో ఇదొక ఉదాహరణ.
