Custody, starring Naga Chaitanya and directed by Venkat Prabhu, is gearing up for release in both Telugu and Tamil languages. The makers have now released a new teaser.
A wounded heart can drive a man to great lengths, Naga Chaitanya says in the opening voiceover of the teaser. He plays a police officer in the film. The 90 second teaser creates interest and also intrigues us about its plot. Apparantly, the film is a political thriller.
Without giving away too much of the story, director Venkat Prabhu manages to pique our interest with the teaser.
“Truth is my weapon, truth is in my custody,” he says.
Krithi Shetty plays Naga Chaitanya’s girlfriend. With his villainous deeds, Arvind Swami gives the character that extra punch.
Notable in particular are Abburi Ravi’s dialogues. Srinivasaa Chitturi produces the film, and the teaser hints at the film’s high production values and technical standards.
‘Custody’ hits the theatres on May 12, 2023.
