Karthi’s ‘Sardar’ trailer is out

From playing a spy in the Chozha period in Mani Ratnam’s ‘PS1’, Karthi moves to play a spy in contemporary drama. Titled ‘Sardar’, the film’s teaser is out.

PS Mithran of ‘Abhimanyudu’ fame has directed the film. The trailer reveals the dual characters of Karthi – Sardar, a man of disguise, and Inspector Vijay Prakash.

Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, and Laila are part of the female cast. Annapurna Studios will be releasing the movie in Telugu states.

The trailer is a bit underwhelming. It is set for October 21st release.
