After many years, Superstar Rajinikanth returns to rural drama. His upcoming release, Peddhanna (‘Annaatthe’ in Tamil), revolves around village clashes and brother-sister sentiment. The trailer for ‘Peddhanna’ is out.
Directed by Siva, the trailer mixes all elements required for a Rajinikanth’s movie – action sequences, brother-sister sentiment between Rajinikanth and Keerthy Suresh, romantic track on Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, and rural politics.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on November 4 in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
The action-packed film stylishly projects Rajinikanth. He plays Veeranna, a village head of Rajolu in Andhra Pradesh. Keerthy Suresh is his sister. Jagapathi Babu appears as a villain who vows to take revenge on him. The trailer depicts that Rajinikanth would go to any length to protect his sister. A part of the story also seems to be set in Kolkota.
Meena, Khushbu, and Prakash Raj also play important roles.
Narang and Suresh Babu are releasing the film in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. D Imman has composed the music.
