‘Pitta Kathalu’ is the first-ever original content from Netflix in the Telugu language. The anthology film is all set to stream on Netflix on February 19, and the teaser is out.
Directed by four different directors – Nag Ashwin, Nandini Reddy, Sankalp Reddy, and Tharun Bhascke, the stories talk about four different women and their journey. The common thread of all these stories is the women ‘want to dismantle the patriarchy’.
Starring Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Satya Dev, Amala Paul, Ashwin Kakamanu, Eesha Rebba, Lakshmi Manchu, Saanve Megghana, and Sanjith Hegde.
This is quite a bold anthology film in a Telugu language featuring prominent faces. The film is based on the lines of Netflix’s popular Hindi anthology drama – Lust Stories. However, all the Telugu stories are distinctly different from the Hindi version.
