Telling a regular story in a lavish scale with high-octane action episodes is the new success mantra. Gopichand’s upcoming film, Seetimaarr’ seems to be following the same path. The teaser is out. If the teaser is anything go by, the Kabaddi game takes backseat in the movie and the regular masala moments come forth.
In the film, Gopichand plays Kabaddi coach to Andhra team, while Tamannaah does the same for the Telangana team. “Kabaddi Maidanamlo Aadite Aata… Bayata Aadithe Veta” (If Kabaddi is played in the ground it is a play, outside the ground, it is called hunting) says Gopichand in his ferocious manner.
The film is directed by Sampath Nandi who is known for films like ‘Rachcha’ and ‘Bengal Tiger’. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, ‘Seetimaarr’ is scheduled to hit the screens on April 2nd.
