“Thug Life” is the latest film in the combination of legendary actor Kamal Haasan and legendary director Mani Ratnam. The duo last time teamed up for “Nayakudu” (aka ‘Nayagan’), which stood as a classic and ranked as one of the all-time greatest movies made in Indian cinema.
Kamal Haasan’s birthday coincided with the release of the “Thug Life” teaser today. The teaser also revealed the film’s release date as June 5, 2025.
The teaser opens with a stunning visual montage featuring a man on the run. The teaser then cuts to Kamal Haasan performing an action stunt. The teaser also showcases shots of Delhi and actor Simbu in a fight episode. After showcasing Kamal Haasan in an agressive mode, the teaser concludes by revealing the release date.
The dialogue-less teaser proves that Kamal Haasan plays an action role in this film.
Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are together producing the film, with AR Rahman providing the music. Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and Abhirami play other important roles.
