Krithi Shetty’s sudden rise and recent struggles highlight how unpredictable stardom can be. She made a dream debut with the blockbuster “Uppena,” which brought her immense fame and several big offers in Telugu cinema. However, none of her subsequent films could match the impact of her first success.

After facing back-to-back failures, Krithi gradually lost Telugu opportunities and has now shifted her career focus to Tamil cinema. She currently has multiple Tamil projects lined up, including Vaa Vaathiyaar starring Karthi. The film is being released in Telugu as Annagaru Vostaru.

Ahead of the film’s December 12 release, Krithi has actively begun promotions. During a recent interview, she turned emotional while recalling the harsh trolling and criticism she faced during her low phase.

“I experienced a lot at a very young age. When a series of films didn’t work, I was unfairly blamed and targeted online,” Krithi Shetty said.

“Acting demands huge emotional energy, and during those times, receiving hatred for no reason was unbearable. It hurts even more when the criticism comes for things beyond our control,” she added, holding back tears.

Despite the setbacks, Krithi remains optimistic about rebuilding her career. At just 22, she believes the best phase of her journey is yet to come.
