RRR creates new record
Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ featuring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles is setting new records even before finishing off its shoot. As far as business is concerned, the film will set a new benchmark for Telugu movies. The mega patriotic period drama is still underway of finishing of its third schedule, but producer DVV Danayya has already closed the deal of business for overseas area.
The overseas theatrical rights barring China market were snapped up by Phars, a Dubai based company, for whopping Rs 66 Cr, which is an all-time record among Telugu films. It broke the record created by ‘Baahubali 2’ in overseas.
Producer Danayya will be receiving the total amount in advance and he will use this amount for production. The movie is to be made with Rs 350 Cr budget. ‘RRR’ has Alia Bhatta as one of the female leads and the movie is slated for July 30, 2020 release.
