Nayanthara buys Rs 31 crore luxury duplex in Chennai

Actress Nayanthara and her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, have reportedly purchased a lavish duplex house in one of Chennai’s most prestigious localities, Poes Garden.

According to property registration documents, the couple acquired the luxury property for around Rs 31.5 crore. The duplex is located in the upscale “Legacy” residential project in the city.

The apartment reportedly spans the fourth and fifth floors of the building and has a massive built-up area of about 14,369 square feet.

Poes Garden is regarded as one of the most elite residential addresses in Chennai. The locality is known for being home to several high-profile personalities, including superstar Rajinikanth and Dhanush.

Interestingly, this purchase comes soon after Nayanthara scored a massive hit in Telugu with the film “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu,” where she played opposite megastar Chiranjeevi. The actress reportedly received a remuneration of around Rs 10 crore for the film, making her one of the highest-paid actresses in South Indian cinema.

With such high remuneration and consistent success, Nayanthara has steadily been expanding her wealth and investments.
