Gopichand has teamed up with director Sankalp Reddy, best known for the acclaimed film “Ghazi”. Their upcoming project, tentatively called as #Gopichand33, is being mounted as a grand historical action saga.
The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, with Pavan Kumar presenting it.
Ritu Varma plays the female lead in the film. On the occasion of her birthday today, the makers unveiled the first-look poster of her character. She will be seen as Sathyavathi, a regal warrior. In the poster, Ritu Varma appears in warrior attire, aiming an arrow at her target, hinting at a strong and fierce character in the film.
After last year’s “Mazaka”, this is currently the only film she is actively shooting for.
Mounted on a large scale with a significant budget, the film has been in production for some time. Gopichand will reportedly appear in a powerful warrior avatar, while director Sankalp Reddy is said to be bringing to the screen a compelling yet lesser-explored chapter of Indian history.
