Ustaad Bhagat Singh opens to strong response, say makers

Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, hit theaters today and, according to the makers, has opened to a stronger-than-expected response.

Director Harish Shankar said he is delighted with the positive feedback coming in from all regions right from the first show. He stated that while the film is designed as a mass entertainer showcasing “vintage” Pawan Kalyan, it also carries meaningful elements.

He added that audiences are pleasantly surprised by the film’s content, particularly noting that certain themes like illegal Immigration in India explored in the story are rarely seen in Telugu cinema.

Producer Naveen Yerneni echoed similar sentiments, stating that the film is witnessing a festive atmosphere in theaters across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the USA. He said the word-of-mouth has been highly positive and collections are improving with each show.
