Dhurandhar 2 beats RRR lifetime gross in just 5 days in NA

Rajamouli’s “RRR” which was released in 2022 grossed whopping $14.2 million in its first release. After multiple re-releases, the film ended its lifetime gross in North America as $15.2 million.

Now, Aditya Dhar’s Bollywood blockbuster “Dhurandhar 2” grossed $15.2 million in just five days. The film premiered in North America on 18th March. By end of five days of its run inclusive of premieres, the film grossed more than $15 million and effectively crossed the total lifetime gross of “RRR”.

Now, “Dhurandhar 2” stands at fifth place in the list of all-time highest grossing Indian movies in North America. The film’s massive performance in Canada has helped it achieving this feat in quick time. The other highlight of the film’s success is its regular ticket price, unlike Telugu films which run at premium price.

“Dhurandhar 2” is expected to emerge as all-time number one Indian movie in North America shortly, beating “Baahubali 2.”
