Ashu Reddy row: Father confirms money taken from NRI

A fresh twist has emerged in the controversy involving actress and influencer Ashu Reddy, as her father has publicly confirmed key parts of the allegations made by Dharmendra.

Ashu Reddy’s father, Koyya Venkata Krishna Reddy, stated in a TV interview that his daughter did receive money from NRI Dharmendra. This NRI has accused her of cheating him of nearly Rs 9 crore after allegedly promising marriage.

The dispute is already under legal scrutiny, with Dharmendra filing a police complaint in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Ashu Reddy has denied wrongdoing and warned of legal action against those spreading what she calls false information.

In a surprising turn, her father also blamed his estranged wife for influencing their daughter’s actions. He claimed that Ashu’s mother encouraged her association with Dharmendra despite knowing he was married.

While acknowledging the financial transactions, Venkata Krishna Reddy made counter-allegations, claiming Dharmendra’s family has links to a “call money mafia.”

According to the complaint, Dharmendra allegedly spent around Rs 9.83 crore on Ashu Reddy, including gold, luxury cars, and an advance payment for a villa. The conflict reportedly escalated after Ashu declined to marry him, after both families had consulted astrologer Venu Swamy.
