Meena completes 30 years as a lead actress
Meena began her acting career as a child artiste. However, she turned into a lead actress in 1990. The senior actress has now completed 30 years as a lead actress. She debuted as a lead heroine in Navayugam, a Telugu film directed by Aditya Kumar. She played opposite Rajendra Prasad.
And on this special day, she recalled those moments.
“How soon time flies…I still remember my first movie as a Heroine, #Navayugam I feel so privileged to look back and see the various versatile roles, I had the opportunity to play, and eternally grateful to everyone, who made this happen. #30yearsofMeena as a Heroine, or Leading Lady, as they say it nowadays,” she wrote.
Meena recently wrapped ‘Drushyam 2’ in which she played Venkatesh’s wife. The film is expected to premiere on an OTT platform shortly.
