Day 2: ‘Dacoit’ holds steady in Telugu, sees growth in Hindi

Adivi Sesh’s latest film “Dacoit” continues its steady run at the box office, maintaining momentum on its second day with a slight overall growth driven by the Hindi version.

After a strong opening, the film collected around Rs 8.10 crore in India on Day 2, about Rs 60 lakh higher than Day 1. While the Telugu version remained largely stable, the Hindi version showed encouraging growth. It increased from nearly Rs 1 crore on the opening day to approximately Rs 1.70 crore on Day 2, contributing significantly to the overall rise.

Overseas, “Dacoit” is performing impressively, particularly in North America. The film has grossed about $800K in the USA alone, pushing the total overseas collections to around $1 million.

With this, the worldwide gross for two days stands at approximately Rs 25 crore, marking the biggest opening of Adivi Sesh’s career. Directed by Shaneil Deo, “Dacoit” is positioned as an action-driven love story and is sustaining its momentum across markets.
