Sankranthi 2026 has delivered an early blockbuster, with “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” emerging as the clear winner at the box office.
Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, the film has not only secured the maximum number of screens but is also witnessing housefull shows across the board. With five films sharing screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it has been a challenge for every release to get adequate screen space. Yet, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu continues to enjoy complete dominance.
Given that Chiranjeevi’s previous outing ended as a major disappointment, there were initial doubts about the film’s opening potential. However, directed by Anil Ravipudi, the entertainer silenced all skepticism by posting strong collections right from the premiere shows. On the festive Sankranthi day, theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were packed, reflecting the film’s massive family appeal.
In just four days of its theatrical run, “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” has collected Rs 100 crore net in India. In the North American market, the film has already grossed $2.1 million, underlining its impressive overseas performance as well.
“Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” features Chiranjeevi alongside Nayanthara and Venkatesh in pivotal roles, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
