“Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” aka MSG has scripted a new chapter at the box office by crossing the Rs 200 crore net mark in India. The feat is a notable moment in Megastar’s career.
This is not only Megastar Chiranjeevi’s first-ever Rs 200-crore net film at the domestic box office but also the highest-grossing Sankranthi release of all time.
Until now, “HanuMan” held this prestigious festival record, which MSG has now emphatically shattered to emerge as the biggest Sankranthi blockbuster in India. The film is now heading into a crucial weekend with no major releases posing competition, giving it ample scope to further consolidate and expand its box-office dominance.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, MSG features Chiranjeevi in the titular role, with Nayanthara as the female lead and Venkatesh making a special guest appearance.
