Telangana theater owners decide to reopen from October 15

In the wake of the central government’s decision to allow the cinema halls to reopen from October 15 with 50 percent seating capacity, the Telangana Theatre Owners’ Association today convened a meeting. The meeting was held at Sudharshan 35 MM at RTC X roads in Hyderabad.

The association also has decided to reopen the theaters in the state from October 15 and made an appeal to the state government to accord the permissions officially. 

Key decisions….

  • Adjacent seats will be left empty in the cinema halls.
  • Sanitizers will be kept at entrance and exit gates in all the theaters.
  • Wearing a face mask is mandatory for the audiences.

The association also appealed to the state government to waive off the electricity bills for the lockdown period as the cinema halls are facing an unprecedented crisis. 

The association also demanded the government to revive parking charges. The government abolished parking charges in cinema theaters and malls.
