Director Sekhar Kammula has a big fan base in the overseas market. Many of his movies had collected more than a million dollars in the USA. His previous film, Fidaa, had collected $2 million in its lifetime run.
However, the stunning opening for his latest release, Love Story, is all the more special. The theatrical market is down owing to the pandemic. No Indian film this year had collected more than $300k on premiere day. But ‘Love Story’ grossed $306k from premiere shows.
