As “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” gears up for its grand release on July 24th, veteran producer A.M. Rathnam today interacted with media, offering insights into the long journey of bringing this ambitious period action drama to life.
Helmed by director Jyothi Krishna and produced by A. Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Productions, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” features music by M.M. Keeravani. Pawan Kalyan takes on the titular role, alongside Nidhhi Agerwal, in a tale that promises grandeur, emotion, and high-octane action.
Rathnam revealed that special plans are underway for fans across the Telugu states: “We’re planning to organize paid premieres for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Once we secure the required permissions, we aim to hold 9:00 PM premiere shows on July 23rd.”
He also clarified concerns over the prolonged production timeline, dispelling misconceptions with an honest explanation: “The film didn’t consume too many shooting days. What took time was the scale of the story and the era it’s set in. Recreating required extra effort and care.”
When asked whether the film draws from a real historical figure, Rathnam made it clear that it is rooted in fiction: “Hari Hara Veera Mallu isn’t based on any particular historical person. It’s an entirely fictional narrative set in the 17th century. It is a work of historical imagination, not a biopic.”
Speaking passionately about the film’s impact, Rathnam shared what he hopes the audience will take away: “After watching this movie, I believe people will declare that we have made a fine film. That’s the kind of response we expect.”
With Rathnam’s passion driving the project and a dedicated team behind the vision, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” has already created huge hype.
