Acharya to resume shoot in November

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’ is planning to resume the shoot in November. Being directed by Siva Koratala, the film’s shoot was stalled in March, when coronavirus was beginning to be reported. Chiranjeevi hoped to resume the shoot in June but the sudden crease in the number of corona positive cases in Telangana made him drop the plans.

Now, Koratala and his team are planning new schedules from November. Five months is the deadline Koratala has chalked out for this shoot. ‘Acharya’ is scheduled for April 9, 2021 release.

Kajal Aggarwal has been cast opposite Chiranjeevi. A heroine for Ram Charan is yet to be finalized. Produced by Niranjan Reddy, the film has Mani Sharma’s music.
