Veteran actor J V Ramana Murthi, who played many notable roles in classics like ‘Maro Charitra’, passed away today at a private hospital inn Hyderabad. He was undergoing treatment for the illness and breathed his last at hospital bed.
Born in 1933, Ramana Murthi debuted in ‘MLA’ in 1957 and subsequently acted in about 150 films. Some of his movies are: Maro Charithra, Akali Rajyam, Gorintaku, Guppedu Manasu, Idi Katha Kaadu, Subhodayam, Sabash Ramudu, Sapthapadi, Subhalekha, Andhra Kesari, Ananda Bhairavi, Sirivennela, Karthavyam, etc.
His brother J V Somayajulu was also famous actor who played the lead role in ‘Sankarabharanam’.
