Director Trivikram Srinivas is currently busy shooting “Adarsha Kutumbam,” featuring Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role. Though initially planned as a quick project, the film’s production has faced delays, leading to a change in its release strategy.
The makers have now decided to skip the Dasara 2026 holiday window and are instead targeting a release on Gandhi Jayanthi. Accordingly, “Adarsha Kutumbam” is likely to hit theaters on October 2, 2026.
Interestingly, Dasara falls on October 20 this year, and the team could have opted for a later festive release. However, they have chosen an earlier date to avoid a direct box office clash with Prabhas’s upcoming film “Fauji,” which is gearing up for a grand Dasara release.
“Adarsha Kutumbam” is said to be a family drama with action elements. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead opposite Venkatesh, while popular Tamil comedian Yogi Babu has joined the cast in a key role.
The film is produced by S. Radha Krishna under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner. Music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who gained recognition for his work in “Animal.”
