Aditi Rao Hydari has issued a caution to her fans and photographers after discovering that someone has been impersonating her on WhatsApp.
The impersonator has reportedly been using her photos and name to message people about photoshoots. Aditi clarified that she never reaches out for work through a personal number and urged everyone to communicate only through her official team.
Sharing a note on Instagram, she wrote:
“Hi everyone, I wanted to flag something that a few people brought to my notice today. Someone has been pretending to be me on WhatsApp, using my pictures and messaging photographers about photoshoots. It isn’t me. I don’t reach out like this, and I don’t use any personal number for work. Everything always goes through my team. Please be careful and don’t engage with that number. If you come across anything odd, just let my team know. Thank you to all those who have my back and are so protective and kind. Love, Aditi.”
In recent months, Aditi hasn’t been signing many films, though she continues to appear in photoshoots for magazines and brands. She married actor Siddharth in September 2024.
