After Telugu, Suriya begins film with Malayalam director

Tamil star Suriya is expanding his horizons and rebuilding his market beyond Tamil Nadu after facing a string of setbacks. He is now actively collaborating with successful filmmakers from Telugu and Malayalam industries.

Currently, Suriya is shooting a Telugu–Tamil bilingual directed by Venky Atluri, produced by Sithara Entertainments. The project is progressing well, marking his renewed push in the Telugu market.

Adding to the excitement, Suriya officially launched his next film today. This is going to be a Tamil–Malayalam bilingual directed by Jithu Madhavan, the filmmaker behind the Malayalam blockbuster Aavesham. Titled tentatively as Suriya 47, the project promises a fresh and dynamic collaboration.

Nazriya Fahadh has been cast as the female lead. The launch event, held in Chennai, was attended by Suriya’s wife and actress Jyothika, adding more charm to the occasion.

With these new ventures, Suriya is gearing up for a strong comeback across South India.
