Director Surender Reddy had announced his next film with Akhil Akkineni about six months ago. Titled ‘Agent’, the film was to begin its shoot in April this year. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the makers have halted the production activities.
Billed to be an action entertainer, Akhil Akkineani will be seen as a spy. Thus the title Agent. However, director Surender Reddy is still writing the script. He wants the best scenes for the film as he has taken it a challenge to deliver a big hit to Akhil, who has not tasted the success so far.
Surender Reddy is also co-producing the film on his newly floated Surrender2Cinmea banner.
The director has hired a team of writers to help him getting the unique sequences and they are using the current lockdown time to come up with brilliant ideas.
The film is expected to begin the regular shoot in July or August.
