Akhil Akkineni starrer ‘Agent’ will not release as planned. Initially, it was said that the film will come to theatres in August.
The latest we hear is that the film has been postponed. The makers are looking at releasing the film during the Dasara festival. This will give the film an edge of releasing during the holiday season. The new release date will be announced shortly.
Surender Reddy is directing this film. Some high-octane action scenes have been shot.
‘Agent’ features Malayalam superstar Mammootty playing a powerful role, wherein debutante Sakshi Vaidya will be seen as Akhil’s love interest.
Music will be scored by Hip Hop Tamizha. Vakkantham Vamsi has provided the story for the film being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema.
