Allu Arjun aims to penetrate the USA market. Prabhas has established a huge market for his movies in North America, since the most of his films have grossed above 8 million dollars (Baahubali and Salaar). Additionally, two films, “Baahubali 2” and “Kalki 2898 AD,” have established all-time records by generating $20 million and $18 million, respectively. Other Telugu stars don’t even have half the market.
Despite NTR and Ram Charan each having a $15 million film with “RRR,” their individual films have not achieved significant success. NTR’s latest film “Devara” has garnered $6 million, marking the highest grosser in his career as a solo lead hero to date. Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” box office earnings has yet to be determined as the film is scheduled for January 10, 2025 release.
In this context, Allu Arjun has targeted the North American market.
He reportedly plans to achieve substantial figures between $10 million and $15 million. He seeks to demonstrate that he is equivalent to Prabhas regarding popularity in any market. Allu Arjun has already put a plan in place “Pushpa 2.”
Allu Arjun’s prior most successful film in North America was “Ala Vaikunthapurramlloo,” which grossed $3.5 million. Conversely, the first part of “Pushpa” earned $2.4 million. Will “Pushpa 2” achieve massive success and surpass the $10 million threshold?
