Dhanush has already announced a Telugu film in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. Here comes another announcement. Venky Atluri will direct Dhanush. Sai Soujanya (director Trivikram’s wife) and Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments will bankroll it.
Venky Atluri has directed three films – ‘Toli Prema’, ‘Mr.Majnu’ and ‘Rang De. Out of which, only one (Toli Prema) had tasted success. The film’s title and first look will be unveiled on 23rd December.
The national award-winning actor has focused on Telugu films to widen his market. Sekhar Kammula’s film is a pan-Indian project. Dhanush says Venky Atluri’s film will be his first direct Telugu film. So, it will start rolling much before Sekhar Kammula’s film. And it will also be made in Tamil.
Trivikram has now begun co-producing films. His wife Sai Soujanya will act as producer on their banner – Fortune Four.
