Actress Anupama Parameswaran has recently signed several Tamil films, leading to speculation that she may gradually shift her base to Chennai and reduce her commitments in Telugu cinema.
The rumors gained momentum after reports linked her to Dhruv Vikram, son of Vikram. The duo starred together in a Tamil film that received appreciation from audiences and emerged as a success. Their on-screen chemistry and reports about their off-screen relationship further fueled talk that Anupama might prioritize Tamil cinema going forward.
However, sources indicate that the actress has no plans to step away from Telugu films. In fact, she is keen on strengthening her position in Tollywood and is actively looking for more opportunities.

Her next Telugu release will be “Mareechika”, which is slated to hit theaters later this month. The promotional campaign for the film is yet to begin. She also has another major Telugu project in the pipeline. Anupama plays the female lead opposite Sharwanand in “Bhogi”, which is currently under production and is expected to release in August.
While she has not officially announced any new Telugu projects beyond these films, the actress is reportedly aiming to bag more high-profile, star-driven ventures and consolidate her standing in the Telugu film industry.
