Kangana Ranaut to trolls: Aishwarya Rai owes nothing to anyone

Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has strongly defended Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after the former Miss World faced criticism on social media over her recent appearances at the Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya, who is now in her 50s, turned heads with a series of striking fashion choices during the final days of the prestigious festival. While many fans praised her confidence and elegance, a section of social media users criticized her looks and weight.

Reacting to the trolling, Kangana took to Instagram Stories and argued that fashion is a personal form of expression rather than something designed to satisfy public expectations.

“Fashion and style is a self-expression. It is one’s own interpretation of life and attitude. No woman owes anything to anyone. Ash looks great!!” Kangana wrote.

She also pointed out that audiences should become more accustomed to seeing older women confidently walking red carpets and embracing fashion on their own terms.

Kangana’s comments have drawn praise from many netizens.
