Ashika Ranganath lands another biggie Telugu?

Actress Ashika Ranganath appears to be adding yet another Telugu film to her growing lineup. Industry buzz suggests that she has been finalized as the female lead in director Srinu Vaitla’s upcoming project starring Sharwanand.

Earlier names like Mamitha Baiju and Sreeleela were considered. But it now seems Ashika Ranganath has been finalized.

Ashika has been steadily strengthening her presence in Tollywood. She impressed audiences with her performance opposite Ravi Teja in “Bhartha Mahasahayulaku Wignyapthi” and will next be seen alongside Chiranjeevi in the fantasy entertainer “Vishwambhara.”

Meanwhile, Sharwanand is reportedly preparing for a new look for the film. Sources say Srinu Vaitla has narrated a story centered on a man whose life takes an unexpected turn because of an impulsive act committed in his younger days.

The love story is aiming for theatrical release during Sankranthi festival 2026. The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
