Arvind Krishna is an actor known for his performances in films such as “Rama Rao on Duty”, Shukra, and SIT. Arvind has also become well-known for his vegan lifestyle, which he adopted a few years ago.
He recently attended the Vegan India Conference, which was held in Mumbai on July 6-7, 2024. Arvind and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez were among the panelists at the conclave.
Both expressed their thoughts and shared their vegan experiences. Arvind received the ‘Vegan Voice of India’ award for his efforts to promote a healthier, kinder, and more sustainable lifestyle.
“Veganism has been a way of my life,” Arvind said, adding that the honor made him more responsible. “I accept the award with a sense of commitment and responsibility. Perhaps this is the universe’s way of encouraging me to do more to advance the vegan cause.”
Arvind is also the only actor who has played professional basketball in the country. As an actor and athlete, Arvind’s vegan journey has been inspiring. He claims that veganism complements his acting and athletic abilities.
“From muscle recovery and lowering the risk of inflammation in the body to improving endurance and performance, veganism has helped me achieve great results,” says Arvind, who became vegan for environmental and ethical reasons.
