Balakrishna and NTR pay last respects to Puneeth Rajkumar

Nandamuri Balakrishna and NTR paid their last respects to Kannada Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar, who passed away on Friday after suffering cardiac arrest. Puneeth Rajkumar’s body has been kept at Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.

Balakrishna broke down in tears as he paid tributes to the departed soul. He hugged Shivaraj Kumar, Puneeth’s elder brother, and consoled him.

NTR who shared a special friendship with Puneeth also turned emotional on seeing Puneeth’s body. He paid his respects. Puneeth had acted in the Kannada version of NTR’s ‘Andhrawala’.

Bigwigs of Tamil and Malayalam industry also landed in Bengaluru to bid a final adieu to Puneeth Rajkumar.

The last rites will be held on Sunday. Due to lakhs of fans reaching the Kanteerava stadium, Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said the mortal remains of Puneeth Rajkumar will be kept at the stadium for the entire day. The funeral will take place on Sunday.
