Aishwarya Lekshmi quit Instagram last year and has stayed away from social media ever since. The actress says she has no intention of returning, as she now feels far more at peace without it.
“I never felt safe on social media. Working without it has made life much easier, and I have no plans to go back,” she said.
Recalling her experience online, Aishwarya revealed that morphed images and abusive comments often made her feel as though everyone hated her.
“People used to morph my photos and post hurtful comments. It reached a point where I felt like everyone was against me. Now, I enjoy meeting people in person instead of interacting online,” she added.
The actress also made it clear that no amount of money could change her decision.”Even if someone offered me Rs 100 crore, I wouldn’t go anywhere near social media,” she said.
On the work front, Aishwarya Lekshmi will next be seen opposite Sai Dharam Tej in the Telugu film Sambarala Yeti Gattu (SYG).
