The strong momentum of “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” continues to impact upcoming releases in the Telugu states. As a result, Sudigali Sudheer has postponed his film “G.O.A.T.”, which was initially slated for a March 27 release.
With this development, the focus now shifts to the films arriving for the Sri Rama Navami weekend. Leading the lineup is “Band Melam,” along with dubbed films “Youth” and “Happy Raj,” and another Telugu release, “Suyodhana.”
Producer Kona Venkat is aggressively promoting “Band Melam,” which features Roshan and Sridevi, known for their pairing in “Court.” Originally planned for a March 13 release, the film is now scheduled to hit theaters on March 26.
Among the dubbed releases, “Youth,” which recently released in Tamil and garnered positive word-of-mouth, is arriving in Telugu this weekend. Another Tamil film, “Happy Raj,” starring Sri Gowri Priya and G. V. Prakash Kumar, is also set for its theatrical debut.
Additionally, “Suyodhana,” starring Priyadarshi and Sai Kumar, will be competing for audience attention during the festive weekend.
