BO Report: A dull weekend for all films

Bhagavanth Kesari, Leo and Tiger Nageswara Rao

“Bhagavanth Kesari,” “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” and “Leo” all continued their run in the second weekend. The only notable new release last weekend was “Martin Luther King,” starring Sampoornesh Babu. However, the box office receipts for these films were so low.

Among these films, “Bhagavanth Kesari” starring Nandamuri Balakrishna performed the best. Domestically, there is still a long way to go before reaching the break-even point. The film, on the other hand, has already become a success in the USA, grossing an impressive $1.2 million.

“Tiger Nageswara Rao” starring Ravi Teja did not fare well in its second weekend. However, the film overall fared better than expected. It performed better as a result of Ravi Teja’s stardom.

The Telugu dubbed version of Thalapathy Vijay’s “Leo” is a hit, but its collections were too low in the second weekend.

“Martin Luther King” received positive feedback, but audiences did not show up to watch it.

Last weekend’s box office totals for all films were quite modest.
