Akshaye Khanna, known for Bollywood blockbusters like Dil Chahta Hai, recently impressed audiences with his stellar performance as the ruthless king Aurangzeb. He is now making his Telugu debut with a film titled Mahakali.
The film is part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) and is directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru. This pan-Indian project is produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal of RKD Studios and presented by RK Duggal.
The first-look poster of Akshaye Khanna from Mahakali was unveiled today, featuring him as Sukracharya, the revered guru of the Asuras in Hindu mythology.
The film has a strong technical team across various departments, and nearly 50 percent of the shoot has been completed. Prasanth Varma is involved in projects like these as the creative showrunner.
