Chiru, Balakrishna, and Venky postpone shoots

The incessant rains in Telangana and the COVID19 situation has made senior actors rethink their plans. Venkatesh, Balakrishna, and Chiranjeevi were planning to resume shoots after the Dussera festival. However, they have dropped them off.

Just last week, Venkatesh had informed director Srikanth Addala to plan the shooting schedules. But he doesn’t want to return to the sets now. The shoot of ‘Narappa’ was stalled in March due to lockdown. It needs just a month to wrap the entire production. But Venkatesh is seeking more time to return to the sets.

Same is the case with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The resumption of the shoot of his current film, being directed by Boyapati Srinu, has been pushed to next month. Balakrishna is more worried about COVID19 cases.

Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’, which was to commence the shoot after the Dussera festival has also changed its plans. The movie resume either in late November or early December.
