No star and no film did get such huge collections in Uttarandhra region (which is popularly called as Vizag territory) as Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Khaidi No 150” did. The movie broke the record set by “Baahubali” and is now inching towards bigger gross.
“Baahubali” in its lifetime run collected about Rs 9.5 Cr in Vizag area. Chiranjeevi’s “Khaidi No 150” already collected 11 cr. By end of its lifetime run, the movie might collect another Rs 2-4 Cr. So, this will be humungous record.
Chiranjeevi who returned to silver screen after gap of nine years in a film with lead role has proved that he is still the boss at box-office in this region. He has set a record that is not easily attainable to other stars. But trade is pinning the hopes that “Baahubali 2” may have the chance to touch this record.
