Shraddha Srinath, who performed one of the lead characters in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Daaku Maharaaj,” which is set to open in theaters on January 12, said she made the film to reach a larger audience.
“The majority of the films I’ve worked on have been subtle dramas or thrillers. Daaku Maharaaj is for masses. For me, it’s an opportunity to showcase my talent to a larger audience,” she explained.
She played a character named Nandini in the film and said the character has a lot of emotional depth, adding that she did a lot of research to play the role. She praised director Bobby, saying he “has an incredible understanding of acting.”
Shraddha Srinath also described working with Balakrishna as a fun experience because his energy is contagious and he jokes on set. She sounded very confident in the movie.
Shraddha also stated that she is open to any type of film, but she prefers characters who are similar to reality.
