This is enormous. The premiere shows of Nani’s “Dasara” grossed a whopping $638k (Rs5.2 Cr). Nani broke a huge record. His film received collections comparable to those of the top heroes.
Even before its release, “Dasara” generated a lot of hype and buzz, and with Nani aggressively promoting it, the hype reached its peak. The collection of premiere shows exceeded everyone’s expectations.
The film, which stars Nani in a gritty role, is about three friends and is essentially a revenge story. Deekshith Shetty and Keerthy Suresh are seen in other lead roles.
“Dasara,” directed by newcomer Srikanth Odela, is doing well at the box office.
