Deepika Padukone: I clean the kitchen

Deepika Padukone is the biggest female superstar in Indian cinema, taking the highest remuneration among all the female actors. She is also one of the popular Indian faces on a global level.

But she reveals that she is like any other mom and wife at her home, doing household chores.

Deepika Padukone attended the WAVE summit in Mumbai and spoke about her daily life. She and her husband, Ranveer Singh, welcomed their first child, Dua, last year. Deepika said she does clean the kitchen on her own and runs a house like any other woman.

“The first thing I do on a day off is sort, organize, and put everything in its place. I’m cleaning the kitchen, checking the fruits, vegetables, and weekly stock. Now with Dua, everything for her is planned and ordered. Laundry, cleaning, keeping systems in place — I run the house just like anyone else,” Deepika Padukone added.

Deepika Padukone’s previous film was the Prabhas starrer “Kalki 2898 AD.” She will return to its sequel soon.
